freshwater ecology freshwater ecology
help ecology?

list four of four biotic and abiotic factors in an ecosystem) a freshwater lake and b) a terrestrial ecosystem, as a forest please help! I really do not understand!

Well, first of all biotic are living things like plants, animals, microbes, etc. are abiotic factors of life, such as nutrients, water, minerals, etc. In a freshwater ecosystem there are many biotic and abiotic factors. A few biotic would be: the growth of algae, the diversity among organisms, preditor-prey interactions, the presence / absence of bacteria pathanogenic, organic waste (such as leaves, logs, dead animals) fall into the lake, and so on. Abiotic factors would be, the amount of nutrients in the lake (N, S, P), the oxygen level dissolved water pH or temperature. In an ecosystem, biotic factors might be: once again, the diversity among organisms, interactions preditor prey, the presence / absence of pathanogenic bacteria, parasites, growth of vegetation. Abiotic factors: climate, soil type, sunlight penetration, or location on earth.
